I have gotten into the habit of leaving out full names and email addresses; I have had too many people think better of something they said fifteen years ago. Dear Jonathan:

I just read your article, Saving Steven Spielberg, for the second time. I very much enjoyed it, and I wanted to know if you were still writing articles.

I've become interested in film form lately, and I find myself very frustrated by Spielberg's work. Your criticisms were most insightful, and I would like to read some of your other work.

The Spectacle links pages are badly outdated. All but one of these still work, but a couple haven't been updated in ten years.
